Description:
This is AMD (Advanced Motors & Drives) replaces the D387 GE motor. This series wound motor is rated at 2.8 HP for a 24 volt system and 5.8 HP for a 36 volt system or 7.9 HP for a 48V. The motor is for use with a Taylor-Dunn axle with a male keyed shaft. 30 Minute Duty Cycle. Expect top speed out of this motor @ 36V of about 14 mph. This is a stock replacement for many Taylor-Dunn, Cushman and other industrial applications.
This is a series wound motor for use only in that application. Not for use with any golf cart, utility vehicle, or other application with a separately excited application with regenerative braking. The performance of this motor is almost identical to the D386 motor. The only difference is the motor to differential interface.
